My mom is coming back from New York to stay with us. She wanted to go to New York so bad because she thought it was going to be wonderful and she was going to have all these hispanic friends and find a great job but it was't like that. She has a different idea of New York now. She said that the streets are very trashy, and the people there aren't very nice. Welcome to New York!!
I am excited to have my mom back though, she gets depressed sometimes because there aren't many latin people here, and life here is different than in Colombia, but she loves her grandchildren, especially Lucas. When she is here the boys are forced to speak Spanish more often which is good. What's going to be funny is that Nanny is coming from Texas to watch the boys with my mom while Daniel and I are in our wonderful trip to Spain. Those two are funny together. My mom doesn't know English and Nanny doesn't know Spanish. Well guess who gets to interpret? Mateo! He's pretty good interpreting and helping the grandmas undestand each other. It's going to be fun!!
