Today Daniel and I celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary. It has been a roller-coaster these past eleven years. We have learned a lot from each other and grown also. We have had many happy moments and many not so happy ones. We always like to do something special in our anniversary. We decided to go out to eat at this fancy restaurant that we have never been to before. It is located on the 28th floor in the Millennium Hotel. It's called Top of the Riverfront, an American cuisine restaurant. It is St. Louis’ only rooftop revolving restaurant. It is really elegant. It was kind of fun to indulge ourselves with great food while spinning around watching the major attractions of downtown St. Louis, like the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, the Mississippi River and all the buildings. At first, we got a little dizzy, but then we got used to it. I ordered duck and Daniel ordered lamb. We have never had that type of food before, and we wanted to try something new. It was delicious. My duck tasted a lot like chicken but better. Daniel was really satisfied with his meal too. I had these amazing cheesecake for dessert, and Daniel of coarse, picked this fancy brownie covered in some type of icing with nuts and icecream. It was so yummy.
After we ate, we had a 30-minute horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown St. Louis. It was in the low 50s, so it was kind of chily, but not too bad. It was very romantic. We don't get to do many romantic things like that very often, so we were excited to do it. Here are some pics of our celebration. Today we also took some professional pictures together and as a family. I know, we had a busy day...a little too busy, but it was a great anniversary.
